Halek’s Bar (Minneapolis, MN) – Just off I-94 in Northeast Minneapolis sits an underrated dive bar called Halek’s. By far the most interesting thing I could dig up on this place is that they considered changing their name to “Ya Baby Sports Bar” back in 2009. I tried to think of a name that might be more repelling to me as a customer – I didn’t come up with many.
